Thanks for that, Jack. Jug lovers world-wide are drooling.

Any insight yet on where she might be seen out-and-about this summer?

An assortment of 509th FS Noseart pics:

Also, 405th FG paint jobs have seen quite a surge in popularity with surviving Jugs: "Squirt VIII", "Tallahassee Lassie", and now "Balls Out". Can't leave the original "Dottie Mae" out of that list either.

Ok Rod needs to bring Balls Out and Glacier Gal to WOH this year and leave the Mustang at home! Would LOVE to see two jugs in the air again!

This pic suggests that the artist took a bit of... umm... artistic license with the current rendition. :D

Hopefully the detail anoraks don't get too bent out of shape.

I like it, but I foresee some grief from some less enlightened observers of the kind that caused the Big-Ass Bird scheme to go away. But the present owner may be able to afford to ignore such noises.

Superbly done artwork! 8) Did Don Ricci do that? It looks like his style.

It has a bull.

It says Balls Out.

Too bad it's not even close to accurate. That's not being an anorak. That's putting the history before your own artistic style. Maybe they never saw that photo and only saw profiles in books. Then it's understandable. But if I had a project where there was crappy referenece material and then a photo magically appeared that could have helped make it correct, then I would be incredibly bummed as an artist, and historian.

Oh, and what did it look like before? I couldn't find any pics in google or on WIX.

Here's a pretty good profile from http://wing.chez-alice.fr
