Just a heads up. Our friend Karl Byam passed away this past Monday. Karl owned Byam Propeller in Fort Worth, TX. Karl was ex USAF propeller repairmen (B-36, C-124, C-54, and misc. others), Worked for Jordan Sr. in San Antonio when he exited the USAF, then started up his prop shop in the corner of the old round top hangar at FTW Meacham (where the Vintage Flying Museum is located). I think I managed to get most of that correct.
I've known Karl for over 30 years. Karl put the C in curmudgeon, O in ornery, K in knowledgable and H in help you any way he could. He was a character and will be missed. His knowledge of propellers was unparalleled as far as I'm concerned.
