I am doing some research on 10 C-47s of the 43-4953x series.

I have the following information on some of these aircraft, and I have all but 1 of the original WWII Individual Aircraft Record Cards.
43-49530 (C/N 26791)- Attach 4th TCS 7 Jan 1945,62nd TCG - 12 April 1945, ,Burned when a B-17 Crashed on to it
43-49531 (C/N 26792)- 15 AF on 24 Dec 1944, Returned 17 Sept 45, Unknown TCS
43-49532 (C/N 26793)- Attach 4th TCS 7 Jan 1945, 27 Apr 1946, France, Crashed
43-49533 (C/N 26794)- Now LV-BEH, Argentina, Was used as Gunship after WWII
43-49534 (C/N 26795)- 51st TCS Feb 1945, 25 July 1948, Germany, Crashed
43-49535 (C/N 26796)- Attach 8th TCS 25 Jan 1945, 06 May 1946, Crashed, Naples AFB, 305 TCS, Ground Accident
43-49536 (C/N 26797)- Attach 8th TCS 25 Jan 1945, Camaroon Air Force Last Known
43-49537 (C/N 26798)- 28 Apr 1960, Destroyed, Venezuela, Explosice Device Planted
43-49538 (C/N 26799)- Attach 4th TCS 7 Jan 1945,
43-49539 (C/N 26800)- Last Known, Italian Air Force
If anyone has any information to add to this , please let me know. Pictures, TCS information or any other. The ones with TCS assignments, I have Official Paperwork to prove the sqaudron, but the other 5 I have no idea. If there are Vets amongst us who have personel accounts of these aircraft or squadrons, please let me know.
Also for C-47 buffs, I have printed, and scanned about 10 IARC to add to the Registry when Scott has the time to post such as he has for our C-47, 43-49531. Check er' out.
