I know that there is a WIXer who drools over the TBY-2 Seawolf, and is -or was - looking for parts.

I found this:

http://www.warbird-parts.com/invent/specific.htm

G-368

Complete windshield assembly w/cowling for TBY-2 Sea
Wolf, built by Consolidated in WWII, very rare $ 750

Hope this will be of interest to you. My apologies, do not remember who you are.

Saludos,

Tulio

I like this one:

G-546
B-1 Bomber cockpit section, 33' L, 12' W, 11' H, cockpit has all glass, instrument panel less instruments, no seats or nose cone, weighs 12,380 lbs., first B-1 de-milled, rare opportunity
$ 21,000.00

Didn't realize I could own that much of a B-1. :)

Hmmm...

Could it be the guy with the Sea Wolf for an avatar?

Thanks for the tremendous heads-up, but the piece up for sale by Mr. Wisler is the last of three he originally owned. I own one now, and another was obtained by a historical group in Pennsylvania.

At least now you (and all the other WIXers) know who to call if you discover any other big chunks of TBY. Thanks again for looking out for me.

Dan

Brother Dan,

Who pays attention to avatars? : )

After searching the WIX for "airwolf" I came up almost empty handed, with a reference in one of the aviation movies thread. Then I realized that it was not "air" but "sea" wolf (canines after all) and voila! No hit! : ) Thus, the shotgun approach to bringing you in, out from the cold. : )

I knew I was thinking about the right airplane, but with this Partheimer's disease, I miss more than I care to remember : )

I will probably forget again, but please do not feel slighted, because it is my memory failing me, and not that your airplane or you are less deserving of remembrance.

Saludos,

Tulio

Brother Tulio:

Slighted? Never.

Thirsty? Always.

It would be my privilege to allow you to buy the first round--that is, if you ever find yourself this far north. And remember that Wisconsin is--and always shall be--Moxie-free.

Saludos!

Brother Dan:

It will be my privilege -nay, my honor- to buy the first round. As long as
you drink Diet Pepsi or Diet anything : ) Cheap me.

Wise-Cousin, huh? Yup, I've been that far north in many an occasion
although the most recent was in 2003.

Who knows? We may cross paths either in dairyland, or any other points south and it will be a hoot to hear your aviation lies. Mine are good, too!

Saludos,

Tulio
