Where Are These Located?

Mon Jun 22, 2009 3:26 pm

All,

I'm trying to track down where these photos were taken. It was back around 2000 in either Vermont or New York. Anyone happen to know?

Thanks-
Kevin

I think it's Empire State Aerosciences Museum,, in Scotia, new York. I found it from...http://www.aero-web.org/museums/museums.htm.... nice looking group of planes. I'd like to go someday.

I wonder what the serial number is on that Voodoo? It is clearly a sister ship to the one I have, with the "I love NY" grafitti on the side (who in their right mind would love New York????? Those pilots must not've had good oxygen when they flew. ;-) ).

Interesting that they say theirs is an F-101F. The one I have is 59-0423, and it's a "B" model. They're only ten serial numbers apart, so I wonder what the difference is?

Thanks for posting the pictures, Kevin...and thanks for the info, tex-fan.

Those pictures had to have been taken after 2003, I drove past there several times a month from 2000-2003 and the F-84F was not out in front of the museum like it is in the first picture.

I'd think about 2006 or later for the pictures if I had to make a guess.

Gary, I think you might be right about Who could love NY! It was one of the greatest moves I've made to leave that state!
