New Legislation Threatens Aviation

Thu Jun 25, 2009 9:22 pm

Folks:

There's a new Bill that will be voted on tomorrow called Cap and Trade, and it is a huge proposed tax on gasoline and fuel use. I know this isn't a political forum, but this is important and affects warbirds and aviation. Call any and all members of the House of Representatives tomorrow and urge them to vote no on this.

If this bill passes the EPA will determine how much energy you use. You know how bad the TSA has become, and how bad the USAFM is. It will get worse if you don't fight it.

There has been a planned "phone surge" for 3 days, and tomorrow is the last day to drive the message home! I have my own business, and spent my lunch hour and called 40 members of the house today.
