Hi .
Does anyone know if there was a T.O / or set of instructions for the fitting of Malcolm Hood's to P47's.
After about 10 years of looking I've found a damaged / jettisoned razor back canopy that I can fit my original Malcolm hood too, only I want to get it right ! .
At first glance it look's easy enough but as the canopy has rusted internal tube's and been cut in to three piece's and the rear loop is slightly flattened I may have to use the Malcolm hood as a jig to get it back in shape.
I think this is the first time since WW2 that this mod will be carried out and it will be as far as I know the only complete Malcolm hood for that great plane the P47.
