I'm working on a little project right now and I'm interested in seeing pictures of your favorite Yak-52 (no CJ's please!) paint scheme. It's OK if it's your aircraft. Would also like to see some historical stuff...

This airplane belongs to my friend, Ed Noel. Through his generosity, I get to fly the airplane. This was the judges choice Yak at OSH 2008.

Nice! Surely there are some more Yak pics floating around on WIX members' computers...

Photos of a number of different paint schemes can be found at this link:

Personally, for Russian aircraft I like the dark grey with red trim scheme as seen on the LA-9 (or on the Yak-3U "Steadfast"):

I don't have any pictures as I didn't have a camera but I have seen a Yak 52TW in green with Japanese markings. Didn't look half bad. If I had one I would duplicate the Finnish Continuation War camouflage scheme for impressed captured aircraft and paint YK 52 as an aircraft number.

Bump...

Does anyone have a picture of that Yak with pseudo-Japanese markings? Sure it wasn't a Nanchang?
