Its been cool in the Midwest. Temps were not a problem. Coolant door is managing quite well.
(However, I was not in this formation.)

Fantastic pic! I can't wait to see the old Tin Goose gracing the skies around here once again.

Apropos of nothing, here are some snapshots I took FROM the aforementioned Ford of the final flight (to date) of the Air Zoo Hellcat (Barry Smith in the cockpit) on 10/31/00. Unfortunately, I left my zoom lens on the ground..I was hoping he'd get a bit closer. Of course, the F6F literally flew rings around the Ford.
