Jay Wisler has had a right hand set of P-400 stacks for sale for quite a while.

I'll keep looking for more.

Are the P-400 stacks different than the P-39 - P40 type stacks?

Warbird51,

I'm not claiming to be an expert, but as far as I can tell (engine-wise), the P-400 was simply one more designation for Bell's model 14. Engine was apparently same as that of the P-39D: V-1710-35

Call Jay. Ask lots of questions. Have him take some measurements and send you some photos.

Good luck!

Hi Dan,

Some of the pics I've seen of the P-400 had the 12 stubby outlets per side. Like the P-63. But after looking some more they came both ways. I had already looked at Jay's site and I didn't see any listed. I'll re check and maybe call also.

Thanks

G-539
P-400 exhaust stack assembly, complete assembly for right hand engine bank, very good condition $ 400.00 ea

Definitely give Jay a call, he has stuff he doesn't even know he has! Now is a good time, as he's moving into a new warehouse, so he might have "found" some stuff you could use.
