These are from my visit to the Technik Museum Speyer, Germany back in July this year. This place was awesome! They had much more than just airplanes but I'm keeping to topic here.

Great photos! The 747 display is most interesting to say the least! What is the wreckage of and where was it found?

Did you see the Ju-87 "as salvaged" display? I like the fact that the museum will display an airplane "as recovered".

The wreckage at Speyer is from a BF-110. I think the JU-87 is at the Sinsheim museum. I didn't make it to that one yet. Maybe next time.

Is this the Zero center section that used to be on display at the IWM in London?

That looks like a great museum!

Got any of the Potez-Heinkel CM-191 (4 seat Fouga)? It's suspended somewhere from the roof I think.

Two questions I have...

Image

What's the slightly Avenger-looking lass above the red bird on the right?

So there are two Ju-52s there...one intact and one with rather more wear on her...is the latter of a particular historical significance?

The "avenger-looking lass" is a Fairey Gannet:

What about the Dornier flying boat hull that is suspended in the air? Is that the one that was recovered from the ocean a few years ago?

The complete Ju-52 is actually a Casa recovered from Spain.
