from the BBC

Extraordinarily rare footage of Spitfire pilots at leisure has been discovered.

The colour footage shows how the pilots kept their spirits high as the country fought for its very survival.

Alex Bushill reports

Steve

It was called high jinx / letting of steam if your were an officer and larking about /tomfoolery if it was NCO's.

Generally Officers seemed to be allowed to get away with more than the NCO's!

Nice film though.

regards

Mark

Same error here in the U.S. I do know that some times the BBC puts special coding on their stories and embedded videos where it will only allow IP addresses located in Great Britain to access their stories. I even went so far as to try 5 different proxy servers with English IP's to try to spoof the coding filter. Either their special coding is extraordinarily effective or the link has the wrong address in it. It's still inaccessible to me.
