For those who get "History Channel" on their TV, check out "Ice Pliots" on Nov 18. It's a reality show about "Buffalo Airways" in Yellowknife, N.W.T. Canada. They fly C-46, DC-3 & DC-6's. For all you prop heads it show be an interesting program.

Sorry to disappoint you Jeff, but it looks like it's only found on the Canadian "History Television" channel and not on the US History Channel... that day has "WWII in HD" saturating the airwaves that day - and History International is the same way...

Now, you are so close to Canada, it might be worth going over the border and finding a pub with a TV!

Does anyone know if it will ever see the US airwaves?

Here's a couple of newspaper articles on this upcoming show.

I really hope this show makes it to the U.S.

It sounds great, I just hope they leave out the American Chopper "drama."

After seeing Ice Road Truckers on TV and hearing there is another show about the Alaska State Police...I saw a clip where a guy does his rounds in a R-44...I was wondering how long it would take to do a bush pilot show.

I'd like to see one about the guys who fly Beavers, 206s and stuff, but I bet a drawback is the videographer would eat too much into their payload...
