I'm a HUGE fan of Gary Valesco, but this takes the cake! Wow! 8) I always wanted to do that myself, but wasn't even sure how to start something like that, and I have zero time for such a huge project.

Awesome!! We did one for a B-17, but is not that large. It does have the stringers and stuff in it though according to drawings we had. It is haning in my hall way.

I can't afford it at my income level, but you can bet if I had at least $200K a year of disposable income, I'd certainly adorn my hangar with a couple of those! I'm a huge fan of this kind of art work. 8)

Wow, impressive! I’m more focused on the metal work though as it’s the aspect of such a panel I couldn’t do myself. I have seen a panel of his (maybe an early one?) that didn’t actually have rivets in it, it was embossed into the metal. At least one of the German panels on his site show this as well.
I wish someone would make (affordable) blank riveted panels for folks like me to paint themselves. I could make my own panel with embossed marks but would rather have a riveted one.

If you want to "cheat", just drill your holes and glue in the rivets. Simple.
