Guys
Has anyone heard of any cases where an Dallas built Mustang ( single examples or serial number bloc ) has either been built at Dallas and then sent to Inglewood for testing, or a complete bloc of serial numbers allocated to the Dallas plant has been switched to Inglewood ?
Reason I ask is because P-51 'Dove of Peace' now here in NZ was in a Dallas serial number bloc, but is recorded as being worked on at the Inglewood plant by a guy who was head of the department that installed the radiators and oil coolers there.
