There was an F-105 that sat near a highway (31) North of Indianapolis owned by a private individual. He decided to scrap it. Here is all that is left.

I've been to that scrap yard. There were a lot of B-58 fuel tanks in there when I visited in Feb 2000. He wanted something like 20,000 a piece for them. The beaten up fighters he had were going for 50k plus. Nuts... it was all in s.h.i.t.e condition. Interesting place though. Wasn't allowed to take any pictures sadly... looks like you got a few. Did you see much there, other than the F-105 carcas?

Cheers,
Richard
