Just thought I would throw a few more from Tyndall while I am in the Panama City Beach mode----------I just figured what a Widget is :shock: :?

The E-9 Widget, a specialized military version of Bombardier Dash 8, is used as a surveillance platform over the Gulf of Mexico waters providing telemetry and radio relays in support of air-to-air weapons systems evaluations.

DESCRIPTION; Two Canadian Air Forces McDonnell F-101B Voodoo aircraft (101012, USAF 57-293; 101042 USAF 57-375) intercepting a U.S. Air Force Boeing B-52G-125-BW Stratofortress (s/n 59-2580) during exercise William Tell '80 near Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida (USA). The F-101B 10142 is today on display at the Canadian Forces Base Gagetown, New Brunswick (Canada), the B-52G 59-2580 was retired to the AMARC as BC0400 on 6 July 1992 and later scrapped. Date 1980.

The further aircraft has been repainted and renumbered in anticipation of its delivery to the Mexican air force, to which it has been sold. The closer T-33 still belongs to the 95th Fighter Interceptor Training Squadron at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, the last active T-33 squadron in the Air Force.
