Guys,
I've got a customer request for some markings help on a model. What I need is any original photos that I can get of Shomo's P-51 The Flying Undertaker.

Ryan, I don't know much about Shomo, but apparently the F-6D used for his MOH mission is not the same aircraft that was used for the "press pics" of the time.

Scroll this for a pic and some interesting info:

Right. For now the customer (a friend) wants The Flying Undertaker, but if anyone has good shots of Snooks 5th, I'd be interested as well. Maybe he'll want both!

It is because of modelers like that I stopped putting them together. That is mind blowing detail.

Someone told me not to long ago that one should only have two hobbies, one outside and one inside hobby. I'm not sure how many hobbies I have but I have way to many things to do to try and raise to that level of modeling.

So was his F-6 painted in the same markings?

Shomo's F-6D was completely bare except for the name ''Snooks the 5th'' on the right side.
I have a nice shot of him in the cockpit after his MOH mission. The P-51D was just a paintjob
airplane and is often thought to the the mission a/c.

Well, believe it or not the fellow really wants the Flying Undertaker paint scheme - as he likes it. So I'm still interested in original photographs.
