Warbird Information Exchange

This CAF Avenger is a bit of a mystery to me. The photo was taken in 1980 and doesn't quite jive with the CAF's current Avengers. Anybody know for certain the id or n-number of this aircraft?

My first flight in an Avenger was in this aircraft at Harlingen with Bob Wick at the helm. That was 1977 and now I own and fly my own [s/n 91110]>>Fond memories>>

That TBM was with the Az wing for a while, then went up to Grand Junction, Co with a CAF wing there. You might remeber seeing this TBM in the movie Close Encounter of the Third Kind, it was part of Flight 19 when it was found in mexico. it is the one that was started.
One time we towed it from Falcon Field in Mesa to a local mall in North Phx, about 45 miles each way. We put the tail on the back of a flatbed wrecker and away we went.
