I was just checking out the updated restoration page at the NMUSAF. www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/exhibits/rest ... /index.asp They sure have alot of projects to work on at any given time. Anyone know how many people work in restoration there at the museum? It seems to me it must be a fairly large staff. Chris or Jerry, do you know?

I think there are 70 people total. half volunteers, and half paid. I'd have to research it to find out for sure, but I think that was what I last heard. The cool thing is that there is always something to do, and once they get done with a museum aircraft, they will sometimes do work on an aircraft displayed somewhere. Right now they have their hands full.

The two B-17's in the shop rite now is enough to keep any shop busy but throw in a 707, rockets, and a half dozen other planes and yes they have their work cut out for them. Are any of the projects they are working on rite now close to being finished Chris?
