Matt
you're forgetting the FHC Fw190A-5 'White A' of 4./JG54 that force landed due to engine failure on 19th July 1943. Restored in the UK and currently/shortly having the BMW801A engine installed in AZ. Then the paint job which will be stunning.
Mark has done a great job. It is a fantastic and historic Fw190F-8 example.
The FHC is nearly all complete. Besides new spars and two ribs the majority of the wing structure and skins are original. Same with the fuselage. Even the magnesium 5 spoke sand cast wheels are original! Original plexi canopy - (2nd Hand). It is a beaut.
I am biased though having seen it when it was recovered, followed the restoration, research it with a German colleague and we are now coming up to 20 years since recovery!
Can I wait to see it fly - NO. But it should be soon.
regards
Mark
