Wow! That's a heck'uva lineup. Wish one of the shows around here could get all the Fagen collection to the same show. I would love to see one of those P-40s.

Lucky for me I might actually be helping a friend move to Baltimore around that time, so maybe I'll have to be a little more selective about which days I can help him... make it as close as possible to showtime.

That is a great lineup  Typically I go to WW2 weekend because of one or two birds that I have never seen up close before. I count 7 on that list. Can't wait to see what else you guys are working on. Great job so far!!! FFs Mig-3 would be pretty cool

It looks very promising. Props to you, Greg, for doing more than most airshows to book new planes and keep the lineup different and fresh each year.

It's not just me. We as a Museum have been working on securing aircraft for our 20th Anniversary show since July of last year. It is a group effort. More to come.

Aircraft roster has been updated. Looks like Fagen's P-40's were replaced with American Airpower's P-40. Also, the Helldiver was added as was another L-5.

Wow, what a show ths is shaping up to be! 8)

I will be there on Friday. (I am a little annoyed my sister is getting married on that Saturday, so I cant go to the show  )

I think it would be awsome to see all the Navy birds in the air together. 8)

I hope MAAM can make 2 things happen:

1. The CAF P-39 is added to the roster.
2. A formation flight of all 5 USAAC fighters!!!!!! :D

Ya' know...as much fun as MAAM is, I have one complaint. That they have the steak dinner on Friday night. Not to appear "ME...ME...ME" but we can't get there early enough on Friday (gotta' wait for Mrs. Mudge to get out of school)
PLUS...I think the steak on Sat. would attract a lot more folks than the chicken does (=more$$$) who, like us, can't get there on Friday. We stopped getting the chicken dinner on Sat. a few years back. Chicken just ain't that much of an attraction for us. I'll go through the hassle of balancing a plate on my lap that has a steak on it, but not a piece of chicken.
Rant off.

Mudge the beefeater. :union:

Well, I have some Good News AND some Bad News to report regarding the WWII Weekend Gathering of Warbirds Aircraft List.

First – the Bad news…. :(

I am sorry to report that due to a scheduling conflict Ron Fagen’s P-38 “Ruff Stuff” will not be able to attend our event this year. I know – I am as disappointed as all of you are I’m sure. However,

And now for the GOOD News…… :P

We are in the process of finalizing the details and The Canadian Warplane Heritage’s magnificent Avro Lancaster MK X Bomber WILL be attending the event this year. The last time the Lancaster visited Reading was back in 2006 and it was a tremendous hit. The aircraft should arrive sometime on Friday June 4th and will be flying in the airshow portion of the event on both Saturday and Sunday!

That makes 4 heavies at the event this year!!! The Lancaster & 3 B-17’s!

We are just a little less than 3 months away so make plans to attend now!

Please go to our website for more details and to purchase advance tickets for the Mid Atlantic Air Museum 20th Anniversary WWII Weekend – A Gathering of Warbirds June 4-5-6, 2010 at: http://www.maam.org/maamwwii.html

I look forward to seeing you there!
