Hi

This is my first post, so please be gentle!!

I have noticed that the P51 Voodoo used to have a small aerodynamic style canopy similar to Dago Red, but this seems to have changed in the last couple of years to a standard type P51D canopy, the rest of the aircraft seems to still be "a racer" having small intake, clipped wings etc.
Can any of you help with why the change and if it is a new Voodoo or not, any help or pointing in the right direction will be most appreciated.

Thanks

Voodoo used to have a racing canopy but the owner went back to the stock canopy so he could carry a passenger.

Reno,
Be gentle.....? Have you been watching the board for a while?
Welcome aboard. I take it you like the Air Racers. I'll also bet your favorites are #4 Four Play and #44 Sixshooter.

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

I have also wondered that. It looked better with the racing cockpit.

My understanding was that he went to the stock canopy so he could *fit* into it (Mr Button is not a small man...).
