Hey gang,

I'm on the air at WarbirdRadio.com right now (10:30am) announcing the WIX Warbird Weekly Show that will be broadcast live each week on Wednesday at 8:00 PM Eastern / 5:00 PM Pacific. You'll be able to hear me, Scott and a whole gamut of guests over the next year speaking about the stuff that's hot on WIX as well as other major news and issues in warbirds around the world! You'll even be able to call in and ask us questions or harass us as much as you like :-)

Any topics or things any of you would like to hear over the coming few months? Any personalities from our esteemed ranks you'd like to hear? Give us some suggestions!

Again, it's going to be each Wednesday at 8:00 PM Eastern / 5:00 PM Pacific at WarbirdRadio.com! Come and join in ya'll!

Thanks,
Ryan

I would like to hear Bill Greenwood on there to give political commentary. Maybe he and Jack Cook could give both sides of the political spectrum, perhaps something similar to the old "Hannity and Colmes" show. Maybe they could each give their perspectives with a warbird slant. As an example, the topic might be "raising underwater W.W.II aircraft wrecks". Jack's position might be to raise them all, while Bill might espouse leaving them in place because they might damage the fragile eco-systems of the ocean or lakes.

Just think how interesting that debate might be!

:D

For those of us with real aviation jobs, (Ok, so I'm a pilot and can't login on a regular basis) would it be possible to make this one available as a podcast?

Ryan,

All of our shows are available as mp3 downloads. The WIX show will also be available within an hour of the live broadcast. Hope this helps...

Good! It will be downloading to my computer soon! Or not just yet. I guess you have to be a subscriber to see that bit.

SWEET! Really glad it'll be as a podcast...it'll give me something other than Coast To Coast to listen to during these night shifts!

I really enjoyed the show. This is a really great idea. I am excited to see what you might come up with for future recordings.

I'm adding an extra line for Wednesday's show... Ryan will have plenty of phone lines. If you have any ideas or topics (for any of our shows) they're always welcome. I truly appreciate the support.

Hey wwiiaviator, where do you hail from in Scottsdale? I'm located in Chandler and broadcast from high atop the WIX Tower (which happens to be the 1959 Original PHX ATC Tower at PHX (how's that for history Matt!... I wasn't kidding!)

We've been meaning to have a WIX local meetup and perhaps this will be the perfect excuse to have a "party" broadcast one of these days.
