Counting on you guys who are going for full photographic coverage! Not gonna make this one this time (not that I would'nt like to), but I'll be struggling to four wheel my way to a little town called Tin Cup over just thawed mountain passes at that time of the year....nice thing is either activity is just as enjoyable as the other, and I've already done two Corsair gathering shows....

Perhaps access to the old Vought factory across the street this time round?

Mark;
We are looking at trying to set-up something special for a plant tour, but there are logistical problems that we need to overcome.

We're thinking next year, maybe we'll feature Mustangs & Mustangs (planes & cars) if this year is successful.

It would be nice to see a tour of the plant become one of the attractions of the show. Not too many WW-II era factories around either derelict or even vacant.

The Vought-Sikorsky-Avco-Textron plant will hopefully become the location for a multi-million dollar project to see the facility renovated to become a Movie/TV production studio. Hopefully when and if this does happen, our small parcel of land will remain for us to develop and preserve for the Connecticut Air & Space Center. Too many times do I see an original factory either completely re-done or just demolished, leaving no record of what was there once. We hope that not to be the case here. But thats far in the future Im sure.

LOL. That would be nice. I was more kidding about bringing a pointy thing into the Round motor party, just for fun.

When we had the Veterans Salute up at Branaird Airport a year or 2 ago, we had both Skyboss and Quicksilver at the show. Very nice display by both. :wink:
