Does anyone know where I can get springs for Miner's Cowl Flaps ? Our DC-3 has these installed and I have no drawings or any other information. Tradewinds does not have any. Who else might ?

Well, obviously both spellings can't be right! :?

You might also consider measuring the spring constant of a good part and finding a suitable replacement (reverse engineering) if Miner/Milner is no longer around and the Seattle Aircraft Certification Office doesn't have a copy of the drawing or a manufacturers part number. I doubt that Miner/Milner actually made the spring, they probably sourced it from elsewhere.

Thx Mark,
Please fax them to 623-872-1360, Attn Matt,
Now do you know where I can find the springs ? I need about 8 or so, Tradewinds does not have any.

BTW, I tried the email address but it bounced back.
