This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I am heading to Mesa for two weeks to MD Helicopters for training in mid February. I know the Commemorative Air Force has a wing there, and Pima is down the highway in Tucson.
What other warbirds are there to see in that area?
Not to take up valuable board space, PM me if you can give me some advice for my weekend and evenings to kill!

Thanks for the pitch Walt. Unfortunately copying the address from your browser address bar doesn't always work I recommend when looking to post a link, look for the text beside "Forum Link" found at the bottom of the page. Copy they grey text into your WIX post to ensure others can get to the data you want them to see. In the case of places where aircraft are displayed/stored in Arizona, it provides a link that produces...
Aerial Visuals Locator Search - ArizonaSide Note: There is alot of data here. Expect the page load time to be a longer than usual.

Certainly! I'm out here too... would be honored to join Scott A. and Chris in welcoming you to the area! Perhaps the gang would like to join up for a party-line WIX Warbird Weekly in person! Just a thought

Thanks for the insight guys! Time will be my enemy on this trip.
In helicopter training class everyday, but have the weekend of the 20th off so plan to make the most of it.
Likely run down to PIMA for a day as well. Been there twice before but always see something I missed or new that comes along.
Haven't seen the Commemorative B-17 since Geneseo the year they had the gaggle of them with Tallichet's B-24 and our Lanc.
Will see what I can. Looking forward to getting together with some of you out there.
