Jets at Palm Spring Air Museum

Stopped and took these photos of the jets on display outside of the Palm Spring Air Museum on Feb 28, 2010.

Great weather on the drive back to Arizona from California. Interesting how big the mountains are on a clear day after the rain.

That F-16 Falcon looks a bit odd to me in the camo color with NAVY on it.

Too bad on the swim suits, there just weren't any at the museum. As for the camo Navy Falcon F-16, no tail hook. Not sure it would make a carrier landing.

Maybe you guys are just funnin', but if not (and you didn't already kow this)...the Navy did actually use F-16N versions to simulate Soviet bloc fighters at Topgun and in other aggressor squadrons.

Yes, I figured the F-16N was an agressor for Topgun training. Thanks for the links.
