So I'm channel surfing the other day and see that Air wolf is on. I watched as a kid so I figured it was good then so it must be good now? WRONG! The acting, directing, and production is horrible! :vom: At least it had a very real P51 with lasers just like they had in WWII   Anyone know about this P51? Race 64?

Wow! I would love a P-51 with frikin' lasers. All I have is Sea Bass. I love the shows from this era. I once saw an episode of Knight Rider that had evil remote controlled full size cars that were actually General Lee Dodge Chargers with the racing number and flags covered up with squares. you could still see the push bars on the front andthe rims.

#64 would be Clay Lacys 'stang. Never liked AIRWOLF as JMV came across as a permanently hung over a_ _hole and acted like wardrobe always gave him shoes that were one size too small.

Appears the low level stuff over the flat ground was filmed in the Camarillo/Oxnard area, I reconise the mtns in the background

My eyes are burning!!! I used to love the show. God what was I thinking. About the only good thing in that clip are the low flying scenes. JMV always comes off as a real a-hole. :butthead:

Still have the Airwolf patch for so reason.

It had its little moments. One that I liked (and therefore actually remember) was a scene in which, as Archangel (Alex Cord)flies in to the helipad on the dock at Stringellow's cabin (at least that was a nice setup!) in his Bell LongRanger (completely white with no markings at all), Dominic (Ernest Borgnine) looks up at it and asks Stringfellow (JMV) "Do you think he has that thing washed every day?"

Are they at least Mutant Sea Bass? Heck, I've got a (air quotes) "Lay-Zer" on my keychain!

I had the same reaction to "Black Sheep Squadron." When my freinds and I were in Junior High, we thought it was "like, the coolest show EVER!" and couldn't believe NBC cancelled it. Some years later I caught a rerun, and saw it from an adult perspective..and couldn't believe it even survived one season, let alone being resurrected for a second (and the "retooled" Season II with the whiney surfer kid was ever more crappy than Season I.)

I have a vague memory of a '70s TV show about a teenage alien boy with all sorts of mind powers. It seems like there was an episode that featured a P-51..

If you want a real shocker, for those of us old enough to remember waiting until Noon on Sunday, on line I found 73 episodes of 'SKY KING' while doing a GOGLE search. Still fun to watch but boy oh boy has the perspective changed-
