This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Magic vid. I will retort with these two. I have never seen the Angels in the flesh, but I have seen The Red Arrows many times. Different styles, and both have their place in the highest echelons of flight.

Agree fully...great vids and music!
Both teams are excellent (same with Thunderbirds, Snowbirds, Frecce Tricolori...etc.) All are wonderful to watch!

Great video!! Blue Angels have sure come along way since the 1970's when I saw them last.

Nice. A tiny bit ironic to see this thread as I was in a hobby store yesterday and found a model of a Connie in Blue Angels livery. Anyone have any pix of the real deal...if one existed?

This was the Blue Angel video that prompted the F-18 door discussion several days ago. If you're interested, someone posted a link to a modeller's forum in that thread with some very detailed shots and discussion on the BA F-18s.

Oh man...Phantoms! I never got to see them flying Phantoms except in the film, "Diamonds in the Sky" (I think that was the title). I would have loved that! Thanks for posting that brochure...that's sure a keeper and a good thing you kept it all these years!

I can't wait until the Thunderbirds get the F-22's (I hope). To do an entire show within a 1-mile radius would be awesome.
For you Phantom fans, get a copy of the film "Threshold: The Blue Angels Experience". It's awesome.
