Hi

Has anyone ever seen Hub Zemke's log books?

In September/October 41 he air tested between 20/40 P40C's and Tomahawk IIB's whilst in Russia and still as a 'neutral'. The aircraft were assembled at Zagodnik by a RAF assembly team. I beleive a Lt Allison also did some testing.

I am not sure whether these flights would hav been listed in his 'official' log book or where they were recorded in a temporary one.

Have always wondered whether he air tested the FHC P40C along with AK255 and AK295 - both of which were recovered in thr 90's.

regards

Mark
