ww 2 axis gun camera footage japan & italy

in the "can you identify this" thread of a couple days ago something struck me.... i've seen u.s. raf & german ww 2 gun camera film footage in documentaries etc, as a matter of fact miles of it too!!! but i can't recall seeing GENUINE japanese & italian shot aerial gun camera footage from the war in documentaries . i know the japanese had some aerial gun cameras, hell!!! i own one!!! but what of the italians?? i know some japanese planes were equipped with them, & surely some aerial movies were taken in combat, but you never seem to see them on tv etc. they must be in some long buried dusty archive somewhere, & it would make for some refreshing viewing from what i've seen countless times over the years. don't get me wrong!!! i would not get joy from seeing our boys shot down at all, but from a rare almost unthought of enemy perspective of japan & italy it would be interesting, after all germany's luftwaffe footage has been thoroughly covered. hey.... i'm always digging for something new!! regards, tom

I totally agree! I'm not a fan of seeing our guys pounded either, but I'm with you! I mean, who else is tired of seeing that one clip of the B-17 getting slowly kicked in the rear...ME! ME! ME! I think I've seen that in every single WW2 air documentary. Actually I think it snuck it's way into Top Gun. You know the part at the end of the movie... Ice Man was in trouble, all of a sudden all 4 catapults broke at one time  and Paramount ran out of F-5 models to shoot down. So they threw that clip in there... just kidding. Anyway, it would be nice to see something new.
