Also, Davidge was one of the Typhoon pilots involved in the strafing attack that injured Rommel. I'd love to know what WIXers know about this mission, as Davidge's son Bill is the TV broadcast color analyst for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL, a team I've shot for in one form or another since their inception. I just found out yesterday about the connection, and have been researching what I could since then.
