Lane lived on an airpark just north of Denton in Valley View. He based the A-26 at Denton for a short while in the early-mid 90's. He talked about flying in and out of Valley View, but there was considerable opposition to him doing so from the other airport tennants. The runway was short, and damage to it was a concern also. I did some work on the aircraft while at DTO. Lane moved the aircraft to Hal Kading's place in Las Cruces shortly after, and I have not seen him since.
