The weather held up for another great airshow at Manitowoc, WI. It was good to briefly chat with Paul (T33driver) again. Vlado did an awesome demo in Moonbeam. One side note, what really made this show for me was as the F-18 demo was about to begin, I was sitting behind an older gentleman. I overheard that his son was flying the F-18. I also overheard that he drove a ways to see his son fly the demo. You could see in his face how proud he was. That was very cool to see.

Now on to a few pics..

Nice shots!

Sharp-looking DC-3 with the orange flash markings.

What's the silver airplane with the yellow and black wing stripes and #96 on the fuselage?

That yellow T-6 is based here at EKM. As a matter in fact Zack was in the tower with me when he departed to go up to the show last Friday. The owner is a super cool guy.

Is that orange Bird Dog paint scheme accurate? It sure is eye catching.
