From the Beb website this morning.. yeah, not technically a warbird, but I thought you'd appreciate the humor.... :lol:

Why is a Tornado NOT a warbird (Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, Afghanistan, Cold War, etc... I think it is a stellar warbird.

I have been lucky enough to have done some of those Snowdonia "sport flying" ops. below the cloud decks at 1000 ft AGL....great fun!

At that point of the mach loop it's closer to 50ft AGL..

Because the usual definition of 'warbird' is ex- military, not current. Of course, there's no formal agreed definition of warbird, but when I was working for magazines with the word in the title we didn't cover current air force machines. You'll note that the WARBIRD Information Exchange does not major on these machines. YMMV.
