Just heard the Crash William's TBM BuNo 53337 N337GA finally sold thru Courtesy. A Dr. in Tulsa trade in his T-6 for it. More details please of the buyer. We don't have much "active" larger warbirds in the Pac NW so she's a big loss. Also just out is that the Cascade Warbird Squadron and Oregon Sqd 13 are not participating at the EAA regional show at Arlington this year.

Why won't Cascade and the Oregon squadron be at Arlington?

I used to belong to Cascade, but just had too much going on
to actively participate....

After years of supporting all warbird expenses (B-25, AD, P-51, FG, FM ect) for visiting warbirds, covering all sqd expenses while putting on displays, forums and activities for all while being treated pretty poorly. They asked for a little help this year with expenses due to drained sqd resources and were rebuffed with extreme prejudice so they bailed. There all going to a Vets appreciation weekend at Longview/Kelso.

Sounds like shes coming to RVS. I'm betting the buyer is Guy Baldwin. He's a few hangars down from mine and was talking about picking up the TBM. He said he needed something with more horsepower than Ike Enns in his Mustang. He had a nice HVD IV and does acro shows in his Extra 300L. You can check out his website at ww.acrodoc.com.

That's too bad. They will be missed @ Arlington, but I understand
(and appreciate) their action(s).

I just heard from Crash. His TBM has been sold to somebody in Brisbane, Australia. I'm not sure who the owner is.

Isn't there a forumite in Brisbane with a TBM already?

Sounds like my "Georgia Peach" will have two new friends. The ex-FPA TBM is at the Gold Coast Airport being "restored" and now this one. I have no knowledge of the owner..... :D
