I'm guessing that the photo is 2 or three years old.

I'm still amazed at all the stuff the Yanks Air Museum brings through their inventory. Multiple types of modern USAF fighters (note what looks like two F-14's on the ramp), a dozen of so Army Hummers and other armor, etc. Then there's the odd ocean submersible, etc. :)

Any clue whether he's using this stuff for trades? I'm supposing some of the redundant USAF stuff is on loan, but it looks more like an outdoor clearing house IMO.

You can find some pics taken at Yanks last February at...

When I was at Yanks for those pictures there were three intact F-14s and the remains equivelent to another which kind of looked like it was being scrapped. Also a few A-6s were there as well. The way the more modern stuff is displayed looks kind of junky, but I don't mind that all.

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

I believe an F-14 was traded to POF for an F-84. Any trades have to be approved by the DoD I would think.

One of the F-14s has a restored cockpit. They also have an F-14 cockpit section. I suppose they are collecting for the museum up north as well. They also have some T-37s and T-38s in storage.

The time to get this stuff is now after all. How much longer will it be available?

And the F-84 would be this one...
