The "news" there and at other sites usually lags, and while the this day in history posts are appreciated, it isn't really fulfilling the site's stated mission. I think it's a case of the chicken and the egg deal. It needs consistent regular commentary to be more viable, but that takes a bit more investment, which I think I understand is what you were hoping to accomplish if you had permission.
I think that for me, news will be faster through and message boards and other "social media' sites, while commentary would be a very good direction to take Warbirds Online.
