Close Encounters movie TBF's question

Hi. Watched the old Spielberg movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind (again!)recently. The TBF's at the beginning looked beautifully original. Does anyone out there know what ones they are? Perhaps even stories about the production, and how long they wore their movie schemes? Any info would be most interesteresting. Thanks in advance for any answers. Willie.
