H-34 Choctaw help needed.

Are there any experts on this helo to help me with a landing gear question? Are the lower support legs, that attach the tire/brake to airframe the same on all H-34 models or are they different throughout? I have a set that wont mate with the helo and seems to be a half inch short. Thinking different model, does anyone have a parts book on the H-34?

Hi Dave,

Up to about c/n 581177, the main gear consisted of a single vertical oleo and a single bent horizontal strut, commonly called a "bent leg". Due to structual failure, a single vertical oleo and two straight horizontal struts were used for later models, commonly called a "V leg"
