Okay, so it was a slow day at work yesterday and while looking through a book of clipart I found some decent Warbirds in there. I threw together a sticker design and the results can be seen below.

Image

I posted them to my facebook page yesterday so i'll just post what I said there

I'm deciding if i'd be getting myself in too deep to try and print these and sell them, donating the profits to WIX. How much would you pay for one? They would be good quality vinyl decals. I could sneakily print a limited amount at my work... but if it becomes too much it may become difficult therefore i'd have to openly do it. If that were the case i'd have to cover my printing costs before the donation which would still be a good percentage of each sticker. Weigh in and let me know what you think.

So there you go. Let me know if you'd be interested, how much you'd be willing to pay for each sticker or a set of all 12. They will be roughly 3.5 - 4 inches.

I would get a few. I would think that around $3-5 range would be good.

Two things.

First off, I think the "WIX" should be in the same style and logo as what is at the top of the left page here. To keep the font consistent will make it look more official as opposed to a "home-made" sticker - as good as it is. You would have to talk to Scott, though, as I believe the WIX logo is copyrighted. If I remember right, our own "Django" designed it. So, you might need his permission as well.

Second, I can only imagine the fun of putting these deep inside warbird owners' wheel wells and other "secret" places. Oh, what fun can be had!

Thanks for the input. I've looked through the items on the official PX page and there seems to be a few different fonts/logos but the one referred to is definately the primary design. Not sure how well it would fit on these.

I'll let this simmer a bit and hopefully Scott and/or Ryan get a look at it and chime in as well.

Apparently the clip art gods don't believe in them. If you know of any L-Bird clip art let me know. I was trying to cover as many interests as I could with what i've got (which isn't a whole lot). Some of them look real nice and some just look ridiculous and cartoony. These were the better ones to choose from.

I go way back with the Mustang used for the clip art. Regardless of what happens with this project please PM with a price for the live sample.
