I DVR'ed it and just got finished watching the show for the 2nd time. Wow, those ultra low passes between the tree lines were spectacular! I haven't seen anything like that since the B-17 low pass on 12 o'Clock High. I really put the power and speed of those machines into perspective.
I was really jazzed to see excellent modern footage of so many types, especially the "unobtanium" types like the Fw-190 and He-111. A couple of the close-up barrel roll photo passes by the Spit and Mustang were almost dizzying.
I really liked the Spit with the ol' British "stiff upper lip"!

I'm guessing that was the model upgraded for desert conditions?
