nice mix of warbird pics!!! a little bit of everything. it's rather odd that the navy operated such a big base in land locked kansas!!

Wow, we almost won the Bureau Number lottery with that Corsair.

BuNo.97142 = Pima Air Museum
BuNo.97143 = ex-Tobul "Korean War Hero"

Would have been great to find active military service photos of either, but the eye candy enough will suffice just fine! Thanks for posting these. 8)

The Navy actually operated two Naval Air Stations in Kansas - Olathe and Hutchinson.

Have a few more Corsair photos, but no Bureau Numbers are visible.
