Not quite.

If it has the round ejector style exhauts, it's similar, but the P-51 whistles more and the prop on the Mustang has a very distinct sound.

If the Spit has fishtail stacks, then the sound is even more different, and much better to my ears.

Bear in mind 90% of the footage was of Spitfire 14's and the 18 (both have the Griffon engine).

Yeah those sound a lot different! Kind of a gruff sounding growl. I meant the Merlin one.
