Who has the most original UNRESTORED T-6/ SNJ?

Sun Nov 21, 2010 4:58 am

I was curious as to who has the most original unrestored example of a T-6 or SNJ out there that is still flying??
My money is on Chuck Wahl's example as best restored SNJ but what about original unmolested examples?

I have seen that airplane Matthias and while for sure original in most respects I was thinking more of a 1940's era USAAF or USN example....Sorry I should have been more specific.

Skeets Mehrer's SNJ-5B N7979C is original and unrestored except for the 1340 and a 30+ years old paint job.

I mostly lurk here, but....here's my bird. Built in 1941, 950 TT, paint job about 20 years ago, new engine last year.
