an aviation Christmas (short) story, "The Shepherd"

howdy all

maybe slightly late for Christmas, but a nice (ok and pretty corny too...) Christmas story I found out about over on the ARC forum; somebody built a nice model set based on the short story "The Shepherd" by Frederick Forsyth, about a Vampire pilot trying to get home to the UK from the Continent on Christmas Eve 1957 when he gets in trouble over the North Sea, and ends up getting some timely help from a fellow pilot........
