Which P-47 canopy is your favorite, the razorback or the bubble. I personally like the way the razorback looks.

Birdcage razorback. To me it just looks meaner than the bubbletops.

Hi Guy's ,
As luck would have it I have a Razorback canopy, it's a little beat up at the moment ,as it shows sign's of being jettisoned.
I.e the front loop and windows are missing and there's a slight twist to the aft section.
And someone in the past has cut the rest into 3 peices for some reason !, probably storage as it's a big piece of kit.
I aquired this last year , but I am not too worried about the missing front loop and windows.
Because I have had a Malcolm hood section sitting in the back of the shed for about 10 years just waiting for the rest to come along.
As soon as I can find all the correct measurements from the microfilm [ have to find it first and scan it ] I can jig it up and start repairs, inc replacing the rusted out rear loop.

When the weather over here improves I'll dig out all the bits and post a picture on here for you all to see one close up.
I hope this has been of some interest for you , and a Happy newyear to everyone !!!! :D
