Of course when you buy an aeroplane the first thing you HAVE to do is put it up on jackstands and take it all apart!

The left strut was jammed in full compressed position. :x
The right brake was fully extended and not retracting at all :axe: because Bozo's Illegitimate Love-Child had used Dot 3 in the system. :butthead:
The front Airspeed Indicator was sticking. We don't need no stinking IAS! :rolleyes:
The tail-wheel was probably last lubricated back in Moosejaw. :evil:

Other than that it has all been smooth sailing.

Hey Spanner,

thanks for sharing! I bet you'll have some fun with that airplane. The museum I'm involved with has a PT-26 that is awaiting restoration to flying condition.

By the way, if those white cowlings on the floor in front it are what came with her, then you may have a little more work to do than just the previously mentioned issues.
