Baughers USN site only has info on it's being recovered, but given all the different sizes and styles of markings up through mid-ish 1943, that must be an early war combat veteran especially because of the huge immediately post Pearl Harbor stars, any one have her history?

Type 34N into Father FAA's registration website. It comes up with a name very similar to the new owners of a certain B-23 that recently changed hands...

I'm so glad to see there are two rare Navy warbirds that are being restored to fly and not scooped up by the Navy to be stashed away, never to be seen again.
